Witchy Witch Heels How To!

How cute is the is fun project?!

Things you will need:

* an old pair of heels

* paper

*painters or masking tape

* fabric

* hot glue gun

First we wrapped our paper around the tip of the toe and secured it with tape. This gives your shoe an over exaggerated pointy toe!

Then we wrapped our painters tape (masking tape works great too) around the paper to make it a little sturdier!

Then just start cutting and piecing your fabric around the shoe with your hot glue.

Did I mention that you have to drink a coke while making this project?

We thought we were clever and decided to divide and conquer ( mostly because we procrastinated and were trying to get these babies done the night before Studio 5 ) Well needless to say one shoe ended up bigger than the other...ooops!

Then just add your own flavor to the mix! We added some shoe buckles we cut out of scrapbook paper and some bats to the back!

Last Minute Halloween Decor Tricks!

With School and Sports and LIFE I imagine most of us are running out of time for everything! So we threw together a couple of Fast and Fun Halloween Decor tips to get you feeling more on top of things!

We glued some sticks we found in the yard around a few pumpkins to give them a fun Anthropology look!

Draw some frightfully cute Spider Webs with puff paint onto wax paper, let dry then place them in windows and corners of your home. They peel right off making cleanup a breeze!

And what Halloween is complete withouta pair of Witchy Witch Heels!

Wicked Haunted House Tour

Halloween is when all the fun holiday decorating starts! We LOVE it! My home is all decked out and ready for all that Halloween fun to begin! Studio 5 just filmed a fun segment on my old haunted home and we had a blast!

Its all about the BOO!

Here's a few ideas to get you going! We love Halloween maybe more than Christmas.... Maybe...... Probably not.... ya we for sure do...... anyhow I have a little boy that is turning five soon and he may love Halloween more than anyone on the planet.  He cuts out Costumes from Halloween magazines and hangs them on his wall, and he wants a Halloween birthday party every single year.... So this post is in honor of you cute "D" man.

Hey there Punkin!

I was going to paint these pumpkins white and all different kinds of yummy blues, but
when these got against the teal wall... it was all over. 

My kiddos love the candy buffet! SHHHH i was almost over it, but if you saw "D"s big browns
looking up at you with that twinkle of excitement. You'd do it too... I load up this candy and take it trick or treating with us on thee Halloween night. ( sometimes I save it for next year, the gum might brake a tooth but it still looks cute! )

Nancy's always been there for me, hey girl, BFF's Forever!

Those copper trays were from a yard sale, meow! I love the simple, no fussiness of this mantle. It gives
that modern tid bit I was going for....Well Hope this gives you a little Halloween inspiration! Fall is so beautiful,
all the fall sports got me crazy and feeling so thankful for a blessed life. Love to all! - B

 

Banner Mania!

So we were convinced that the banner was a fast fad, but we've turned it around and reinvented them!

What makes these banners so much fun is the different sayings and textures! Go for it, it doesn't have to be perfect! Find what you love and what you have and start piecing different colors together!

Think about all the silly things you and your family say and incorporate those phrases into your home!

Studio 5 Window Display Challenge

Our friends at Studio 5 gave us another FUN decorating challenge! So what's the challenge? Decorate using inspiration from department store window displays! This is the window we picked!

So we gathered all our string and went to town on these projects!

Instead of changing an entire room, which costs money and even more time, we decided to make some accent pieces to incorporate this fun look into any space!

So for this project you will need
* A Canvas
*String or Yarn
*Pins
*Mod Podge
*Paint or Foam Brush

First of all there are NO RULES to how you can make these! Just go crazy! Here we started by measuring from one corner and pinning as we went to make a partial circle.

Then just brush on your Mod Podge where you want your string to stick (Mod Podge dries clear so don't be afraid to to just slap that stuff on!)

Then just lay your string down and paint another layer of Mod Podge on top of it!

Here's another cutie that you can make without using the pins!

And if you don't have string grab some doilies and fabric!
